God's Plan of Discipleship

God is a loving God. He loves us more than we could ever know despite ourselves. Therefore, his desire is for each one of us to be spiritually and physically whole, thus we would never perish. The Bible declares in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” This is the plan from before eternity began. God gave his Son so we would have everlasting life. Yet, in spite of God’s love, man continues to perishing; But why?

You v. the World….

Who has sinned? Each one of us are sinners. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Sin is living according our immediate flesh & desires, and “me first” impulses which governs itself as a root of rebellion against God.

Where did sin come from?

Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Therefore, “For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13. THIS is the “good news” of the gospel, and God’s solution for the sin of man. The gospel centers on what Jesus did on Calvary. Calvary’s cross is the bridge that alone can unite sinful men to a Holy God.

I want God to save me. What should I do?

Salvation is free of charge from God, and asking God to come into your is simple. God is delighted to receive his children back into the Kingdom of God. Simply say this Salvation prayer with humility and a sincere heart:

Father God,

I recognize I am a sinner. I come to you asking for forgiveness of my sins. I confess in my heart and speak with my mouth that Jesus Christ is your son and he died on the cross for my sins. I confess Jesus as Lord of my heart, my soul and my life. I accept Jesus as my personal savior and I praise you for making a way for me. I declare by the blood of Jesus that I am saved. I invite you into my life Lord and I pray you continue to reveal your love to me by your Holy Spirit. I ask you to have your way with my life. I thank you for the new creation you have me. In Jesus Name~ Amen.

If this prayer is the sincere desire of your heart, look at the promise of Jesus: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has eternal life.” John 6:47.

Now, thank God in advance for the change he has made in your life! The road may not be easy, but we encourage you to stay the path. Find a good bible teaching church where you are able to be fed.
